Define online marketing and discuss how it differ from traditional marketing.
Online marketing or Internet marketing is when a company solely markets online or over the internet. Companies use various ways to market to online users so that can hopefully lead the user to their own website. There a several differences between the two. The first being cost, traditional marketing used coupons, newspaper ads, and billboards, which are all very expensive to keep up and maintain. Although online marketing can best costly there are some ways which are either free or very cost efficient. Immediacy is another issue which online marketing seems to alleviate. Since traditional marketing takes time in the sense of going from a concept to finished products. The last point I would like to make is that in traditional marketing certain customers that are not typically reachable via the internet on the flip side of things online marketing can reach those that are hard to reach in traditional marketing such as businessmen and younger individuals.
